And even then, the drug will not work on hard gallstones, the drug does not work on most gallstones, the drug does not frequently work period, and it has nasty effects on the liver as well as other side effects. I did a ton of research, and you basically cannot reverse gallstones unless you know for a fact that you have relatively small, purely cholesterol gallstones and are willing to commit to months to years of a drug intended to dissolve them away. Your gallbladder will deteriorate and it’s better to get it out prophylactically and laparoscopically, as opposed to an unplanned emergency surgery that could involve major abdominal surgery + running the risk of infection or sepsis from the attack itself. I don’t want to be the bearer of bad news, but if you’re having attacks now, it won’t improve. Hey so I have stones and recently had my doctor try to push me to surgery despite not having attacks. Long story short: I got a very bad case of pancreatitis and had only 5% chance of survival (since I was young, slim and kind of fit I guess the chances where a bit higher) and now I have to take care of what I eat for the rest of my life and can't ever drink alcohol again. While I had attacks which send me to the flood crying I prefered this to surgery however one night it didn't work anymore and I just woke up in pain and decided to go to the hospital - inflamed gallbladder a night later a gallstone decided to leave the gallbladder (I don't know hoe to articulate this in English sorry) and blocked the pancreas so the stomach acids couldn't get to the stomach. I was too afraid of surgery and also had a lot on my mind so I decided to wait. I also got gall stones since I lost weight too quickly and the Doctor told me I should decide myself if they should remove my gallbladder. Get the gallbladder out as soon as you can!!!
